There is no better place to combine a wedding with a honeymoon than on a private island in the South Pacific.
Nukubati will be pleased to arrange your memorable legal wedding ceremony, and you can choose any location on the island the most popular choice is on the beach at sunset.
The ceremony can be conducted by a civil celebrant or a church minister of your choice, and accompanied by a church choir or the very popular Nukubati Serenaders, you may also choose to hire or buy traditional Fijian wedding costumes.
Seafood is resort specialty, freshly caught off the resort, with tropical fruits and vegetables from the resort's organic gardens own gardens.
Cooking style is Fijian, featuring traditional South Pacific recipes using all local ingredients, herbs and spices,
however individual dietary requirements, such as vegetarian or no seafood meals are catered for.
All meals, morning and afternoon teas, and beverages (including wines and other alcoholic drinks) are complimentary, meals can be taken in the Pavilion, on the beach, in your room or at any other romantic spot on the island you wish, meal times are flexible.
This is Nukubati's premier activity, just a half hour boat ride takes you to the Great Sea Reef.
Nukubati Island is the only resort in Fiji with access to this vast underwater treasure.
Remote, pristine and untouched, this enormous reef with miles of hard and soft corals is being explored by guests of Nukubati Island.
Manta rays, turtles, dolphins and whales parade among uncountable numbers of fish, with a myriad of nudibranchs, gastropods, and crustaceans displaying around the corals.
Nukubati Island is in a remote part of Fiji that has hardly been touched by the 20th century, let alone the 21st.
This is one of the few parts of the world that does not have electricity, piped water or other services that are called “essential” in the western world.
Nukubati produces its own electricity with one of the largest solar power plants in the South Pacific islands.
From an array of 300 solar panels and four wind generators, Nukubati can generate over 10 Kilowatts of electricity from the sun and wind every day.
Fresh water is collected rainwater, filtered and UV treated, hot water is produced from ten solar water heaters.
Nukubati grows its own organic vegetables and fruits, using tropical permaculture techniques.
